Food we Ordered

Roasted Carrot and Green Curry Soup of the day ($6.90)

This soup was thick and creamy almost like a gazpacho. It had perfectly balanced sweet and savory flavors. The roasted carrots imparted a natural sweetness, which was beautifully enhanced by the aromatic green curry spices.

Fried Calamari ($9.90)

Crispy and golden, unfortunately fell short of expectations. While the dish showed promise with its golden exterior, I found the calamari to be disappointingly chewy and tough. The texture lacked the desired tenderness that makes calamari so enjoyable. The batter, although crispy, did little to mask the underlying toughness of the squid.

Squid Ink Tagliatelle Ragu ($18.90).

This was the tasting portion of the ragu. The squid ink-infused pasta was a stunning jet-black color, adding a touch of drama to the plate. The tagliatelle was a satisfying al dente texture. The ragu, rich and flavorful, featured tender chunks of beef cheek and a savory tomato base.

Roasted Capsicum with Paprika Spaghetti Carbonara ($14.90)

Delightful carbonara that left a lasting impression. This creamy pasta dish was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The velvety sauce coated the perfectly cooked spaghetti, creating a luxurious mouthfeel. The addition of the perfect onsen egg added extra creaminess which coated the spaghetti beautifully. Savory without being overpowering. Every bite was a symphony of creamy, salty, and rich flavors that left me craving more.

Panna Cotta ($7.90)

The smooth and silky texture, melting delicately on the tongue with each spoonful. The flavor was a delicate dance of sweet creaminess, complemented by a subtle hint of vanilla that enhanced the overall experience. The panna cotta was beautifully presented, adorned with raspberries and blueberries that added a delightful burst of freshness. This is a dessert I would eagerly recommend to anyone seeking a satisfying finale to their meal.
